Karan smiled. "I wanted to make her special, just like you."

Days turned into weeks, and Behan found herself thinking about Karan more and more. She'd drive around the city, hoping to bump into him again. And then, one evening, she saw him parked outside a coffee shop. This time, she mustered up the courage to go talk to him.

Behan nodded, and Karan led her to a nearby garage. Inside, she saw Ruby, customized and modified, with a shiny new paint job and a powerful engine.

"Wow!" Behan exclaimed. "You've modified Ruby!"

"I have a special plan for Ruby," he said, his eyes sparkling. "Want to see it?"
